Liam, Aidan, Obligatory Hot Female Band Member, Mustachioed Drummer, "So cool I'm bored" bassist - they're a solid bunch.
They played a good mix of old and new - "The Coldest Heart", "Mad Love", "Nightflower", and the one I'd been dreaming of them playing, "And Jesus Said Unto Me". No "Stax" or "Older Younger" though. Broader only had Songs On The Avenue, from memory.
"Come To The Village" and "Come North With Me Baby, Wow" both featured pretty prominently, which is good because they're both great singles.
As an outcome of their gig, really looking forward to their new album in the new year! (their third!)
P.S. Belles were ably supported by Magnetic Heads and Guineafowl, all of Sydney.
