I can't sleep right now. I don't feel like it, that's all.
So talking about M83 (a constellation, by the way) and black holes and interstellar cloud has got me thinking about space. I really want to go to an observatory.

I love music that sounds like it could go on forever, that sounds like you can just float away in it forever. It rarely comes along for me, but when it happens...
M83's advance release for their new one Hurry Up, We're Dreaming - Midnight City. It's one such piece of music. I was very fond of M83's last one, Saturdays = Youth. It was an album that had that quality to it too, but in a different way.
This song is mind blowing. To me, it's like I'm floating through an interstellar cloud on the way to being sucked into a black hole and fading into eternity. Overstated, yes. But that's what this is all about. Anthony Gonzalez, I salute you.
