and I'm not completely enthused.
I guess I'm a little worried by the impending and inescapable
Seriousness
of this new decade.
When it's over, I'll be 29.
As a further exploration of this theme -
At Christmas I was down in Melbourne, visiting my parents
(I now live alone)
And went to see my 18 month old niece.
She's now walking and talking a little bit,
And as I sat in the backyard as you do,
And as I sat in the backyard as you do,
And Christmas 2009 slowly fading into a cool sunset,
I reasoned that by the time little Angelica is my current age, I'll be 36.
My thoughts and ponderances now about her future, and who she'll grow up to be,
Will be completely altered and probably irrelevant by that time.
Time will change everything, and leave nothing constant.
